Samsung’s sporty sequel is an inexpensive way to get smartwatch and fitness features on your wrist. The slender Gear Fit2 shows plenty on its curved, 1.5-inch touchscreen, including step count, heart rate, staircases climbed, sleep score, and options to track exercises from yoga to hikes. It can also track some activities automatically after 10 minutes of movement, and features a GPS chip. On the smartwatch front, the Fit2 shows alerts from a connected Android phone and will allow basic replies. Those who want to issue voice commands will need to invest in a watch, and wearers should be wary of its one-click fastener, but this exercise buddy is a smart one.
