APPLE iPHONE 7

It’s bold, it’s bright, and it’s for a great cause. Apple’s iPhone is the latest to get the Product RED treatment, and a share of its sales will go to fighting AIDS. It doesn’t add new features apart from that striking new look but neither does it cost extra.

HUAWEI P10

The biggest reason to buy this phone is that Leica-branded double-camera on its back with an impressive portrait mode. The upcoming model also has a much faster chip, though it lacks waterproofing or the crisper screen of its P10 Plus brother.

LG G6

LG replaced its built-it-yourself phone with this slick flagship offering a screen dominating 80 per cent of its facade, a waterresistant body, and a double camera that can take wide-angle shots. Its chip isn’t the newest but this phone is LG’s best work.

BLACKBERRY KEYONE

Next month, BlackBerry fans will finally be able to buy a new keyboard-flashing smartphone. The KEYone features buttons beneath a 4.5-inch screen, Android apps, and BlackBerry security software.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S8+

Samsung is back, and it’s clearly been busy. The tech giant’s 2017 flagship phone features a much bigger screen, packing a vibrant 6.2-inch display into a regular handset by whittling down its borders. It’s also brought back the iris scanner, introduces a smart assistant named Bixby, and adds a new multi-frame camera mode. Its fingerprint scanner is close to the lens, and Bixby can’t understand you yet, but the S8+ sets the bar high.
