‘POLITICS IN CLASSROOM’
THE state government has been slammed for “politicising” the classroom after children were asked to colour-in designs for the Carrum sky rail project.
Carrum Primary School students were asked to colour the space underneath the 900m rail bridge over Paterson River, McLeod Rd and the new Carrum station.
Opposition spokesman Tim Smith said North Korean-style propaganda was being used in an attempt to manipulate children into agreeing with the design.
Acting Public Transport Minister Luke Donnellan said the government would not apologise for involving students in the project.
