TWO KILLED IN CAR RACE

TWO race of­fi­cials have died af­ter be­ing hit by a rally car which came off the road in west­ern Den­mark.

Po­lice said the car was driven by a male, 73, and fe­male co-pilot, 22.

The vic­tims, a woman, 21, and man, 22, were rally of­fi­cials and died shortly af­ter the “freak ac­ci­dent”.

The driver and co-driver were taken to hos­pi­tal with non-life-threat­en­ing in­juries.

Or­gan­is­ers Ran­ders Auto Sport said on its Face­book page the rest of the one-day race was can­celled.
