Graeme’s cheap serve

Herald Sun - - NEWS -

IT must have been Graeme’s lucky day when he filled up his car at a Mornington servo.

The sign out front read 142.9c per litre. But for some reason he was charged a piddling 12.4c a litre — or $3.25 for 26.4 litres. “When he got served at the counter they just wanted the $3.25 — nothing else was said,” says Graeme’s son, Michael, from Mornington.

“It surprises me the person behind the counter did not think this was odd.”
