FORMER AFL champions BRIAN
TAYLOR and CAMPBELL BROWN
are part of an eightman squad who will strip naked for a new reality show.
“I had a fear of getting nude,” Taylor said after getting his gear off for Channel 7’s The Real Full Monty. “I’m illiterate when it comes to music. I can’t dance. And I’ve conquered all three.”
Their strip, to raise awareness of men’s cancer, was prerecorded in Sydney earlier this week for broadcast later in the year.
Others in the celebrity strip squad include SHANE
JACOBSON, weather presenter SAM MAC, iron man JETT
KENNY, model KRIS SMITH, broadcaster BRENDAN JONES and NRL player MATT COOPER.
Former Hawk and Suns star Brown says the prospect of going nude was scary but the pay-off was worth it.
“I didn’t know anyone when I came into this and now I’ve made lifelong mates,” he said. “A lot of good will come from this very bad performance.” Fashion model Smith said he has battled a lot of personal insecurities over the years and the strip show taught him to “be comfortable in your own skin”.
Mac said: “I’ve had my first spray tan. I asked for something with a subtle glow and they sprayed me with something called Fijian Chocolate Mousse.”
Theatre star and Dancing With The Stars judge TODD
McKENNEY choreographed the routine, but described rehearsals as “like wrangling cats”.
Jacobson said performing The Real Full Monty was scary but was thrilled to strip alongside buff celebrities Kenny, Smith and Cooper.
