Natural colours warm up an otherwise cool trend of strong greens this winter

Highfields' Own - - Interior - BY JESSICA KRAMER

This year has seen a sharp shift in interior decorating trends already, and winter is only continuing this movement. Expect to see strong greens out with enthusiasm as the cold weather hits, as well as natural textiles.

While solid green on its own may create quite a cold feeling to your winter abode, incorporating natural textiles can add some warmth.

Rattan is very much in vogue, as well as cork and woven materials.

Aside from this, green doesn’t necessarily have to be a cold colour.

Teal is another on-trend shade of green and can be quite warm, especially when pared with warm metallics and natural colours.
