TONY'S NOTES

Highfields' Own - - Real Estate -

Hello and welcome to the latest edition of Highfields Style magazine.

Spring is here and in the real estate world this is our traditionally busy time and it certainly appears as this is going to be the case. Lack of stock though is a major problem.

As at the first week of spring (in all of Highfields), there were only 39 homes on the market for the whole suburb of Highfields.

Four to five years ago, the average number of homes on the market was between 150 to 200.

There has been a lot of interest as well from inter and intra state especially from families who are looking for a larger block of land.

For these buyers, a 15 to 20-minute commute to work is quite often a dream compared to where they have lived previously.

We are also fielding a lot of inquiry from buyers who live in Middle Ridge and Rangeville who simply can’t find any land on the eastern side of Toowoomba and they love the infrastructure that Highfields offers. — Tony Franke, principal of Ray White Highfields
