Aged care on web

Hills Gazette (Kalamunda) - - OPINION -

FAMILIES searching for aged care services close to home will find information on a new government website.

Pearce MHR Christian Porter said the GEN link had details of 73 aged-care zones across Australia.

“Whether you’re an individual or a family looking for aged care information, or a company looking to develop care services, GEN is a new-generation internet tool,” he said.

“It will also benefit students, researchers and local governments – in fact, anyone or any group needing aged care data.”

The GEN website was created from databases including ABS and Census data collected from regional and metropolitan centres. Visit www.GEN-agedcaredata.gov.au.
