How to age disgracefully
A FREE roadmap to enjoying the twilight years is available to people of a certain age living in the City of Swan.
The City’s Ageing Disgracefully event is back with more frivolity and information on Wednesday, September 20 at Altone Park Leisure Centre in Beechboro, from 8.30am to 1pm.
In the spotlight will be master gardener Sabrina Hahn and motivational speaker Dr Peter Dingle to share their words of wisdom.
They will be joined by exercise physiologist and author David Beard, who wrote If Only I’d Known I’d Live This Long.
Swan Mayor Mick Wainwright said this year’s line-up of entertainment and information was a winning formula for tips on how to embrace the twilight years of life.
“This is your chance to hear from some of the best in their field on how to look after yourself, live longer, have fun and age disgracefully in style,” he said.
“This event is all about realising that the golden years are something to look forward to and that age is just a number.”
The Ageing Disgracefully event is free but bookings are required via the City’s website or by calling 9207 8555.
