Film and fit­ness plans

THE Seen and Heard crew are busy plan­ning events for the Oc­to­ber school hol­i­days, with film and fit­ness on the agenda.

To be­gin the school hol­i­days, the first of a two-part Film Bites work­shop will take place at the Park­erville Chil­dren and Youth Care cam­pus on Tues­day, Septem­ber 26, with a fo­cus on the skills and tech­niques of story board­ing and cap­tur­ing still and mov­ing images. The sec­ond work­shop will be held at the Swan View Youth Cen­tre and will fo­cus on film edit­ing.

There will be reg­u­lar hang­out af­ter­noons on Tues­days and movie af­ter­noons on Thursdays at the Swan View Youth Cen­tre.

For those want­ing to get ac­tive and away from the X-Box, on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 2, Seen and Heard will have a fit­ness fun ses­sion at the Chid­low Vil­lage Green. There will be in­di­vid­ual and team chal­lenges, and ev­ery­one has an op­por­tu­nity to win prizes.
