TICK­ETS sold at a clas­sic con­cert se­ries will help fund the restora­tion of his­toric churches in the Avon Val­ley.

The Avon Val­ley Spring Cham­ber Mu­sic Fes­ti­val started in 2004 and at­tracts vis­i­tors from far and wide to a week­end break in the coun­try.

The first con­cert, Pas­toral Plea­sures, will fea­ture baroque trio sonatas by Tele­mann to clas­si­cal trios by Mozart con­tem­po­raries from 2.30pm on Oc­to­ber 15, at St Stephen’s Church in Toodyay.

Mu­si­cians from the West Aus­tralian Sym­phony Orches­tra will per­form at all the con­certs.

The sec­ond con­cert, Spring Ser­e­nade, on Oc­to­ber 22 at Northam Town Hall, will of­fer clas­si­cal quar­tets from three of the sons of Bach: CPE Bach, JCF Bach and JC Bach.
