Show­time at Kala­munda

EN­TRIES for pho­tog­ra­phy, art, hand­i­craft and pre­serves are open for the 120th Kala­munda Show.

Other class en­tries in­clude hor­ti­cul­ture, cook­ery, needle­work and a dec­o­rated bike com­pe­ti­tion.

The sched­ules for com­pe­ti­tion in the Ex­hi­bi­tion Hall are avail­able from City of Kala­munda li­braries or at www.kala­munda show.com.au. En­tries close April 4 at 5pm. Colour­ing com­pe­ti­tions will go to ev­ery pri­mary school stu­dent in the City of Kala­munda.

Prizes in­clude free fam­ily en­try to the show.

The show will in­clude a va­ri­ety of en­ter­tain­ment, sideshows, log chops, the Kid and Goatling Show and sheep herd­ing.

Also in­cluded will be ac­tiv­i­ties from the past and the present, tra­di­tional show com­pe­ti­tion, food and com­mu­nity stalls.

The fire­works will be on both days at 8.30pm. The show runs Fri­day, April 13, 5pm-10pm and Satur­day, April 14, 10am-10pm.
