The foodies’ guide to Easter treats in Perth
BEYOND coloured eggs and the Easter bunny, this holiday won't just be a fun day for the little ones.
Restaurants and cafes across the city are gearing up to offer some amazing Easter specials. Check out a few of our favourites below:
Little Raw Deli has a few new pancake concoctions on offer this Easter. The first pancake special is the carrot cake pancake; it comes with lemon maple coconut cream icing, spiced pineapple jam, butterscotch sauce, candied pecans, apple, mandarin and pineapple fruit chips and vegan ice cream. Everything is completely vegan and gluten-free. This special is available this Thursday and Saturday before Easter.
The Pancake Eggstravaganza leaves no pancake idea unturned, with a Nutella and Grand Marnier cocoa pancake, banana pancakes with caramel and macadamia, and strawberry pancakes with vanilla bean chantilly cream with berry coulis... one of these delicious creations will be available all Easter weekend.
Available for a limited time only, this adorable basket is sure to brighten up anyone's day. This new dessert combines classic churro goodness with everything Easter-y: chocolate rabbits and eggs.
This chocolate chip cupcake with a Caramello egg centre has us drooling. Add a Nutella topping and we can barely wait to get to Get Chunky to try this. It's only available in the Mt Lawley Get Chunky store, and only on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday – get ‘eggsited.’
Using its signature donut as a base, MOP has created a super Eastery treat for us. The donut is filled with a Cadbury Creme Egg-like filling and topped with a little egg too. Make sure you get in soon.
Try a little healthy indulgence with this entirely vegan Easter egg. Health Freak Cafes use no refined sugar and much of their menu is either vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, or gluten-free. It's only available for a short time in all of their cafes.
Spiced fruit brioche and salted butter glaze, yum. Take everything you love about donuts and hot cross buns and smoosh them together into this delicious mix. Only available starting Easter Thursday at Little Angel Coffee in the CBD.
"Chocolate and alcohol go hand in hand," according to Ivy & Jack's Instagram, and we couldn't agree more. The Drunken Bunny combines Baileys, Frangelico, butterscotch liqueur and cream all topped with, of course, chocolate eggs.
Top Dup donuts hot cross bun nut.
