Hills Gazette - - NEWS -

PEOPLE who turn suburbs into communities may be eligible for funding to help provide services to the new Bushmead estate in Hazelmere.

Cedar Woods’ neighbourhood grants program is open to local groups and notfor-profit organisations with a solid plan to benefit their community.

State manager Ben Rosser said up to $10,000 was available.

“Not-for-profit groups in Bushmead are an important part of building a vibrant and healthy community,” he said.

“The grant assists with a wide range of projects, including new equipment, uniforms, revegetation, community events, wildlife protection and environment improvement.”
