Acting up at winery
SWAN Valley winery Upper Reach line-up of acts continues for its 14th year of Twilight Concerts, celebrating the 2018 grape vintage.
The concerts feature bands playing music to get audiences up and dancing on the lawn overlooking the vines.
Nueva Salsa with its Cuban salsa music, cha cha and samba play on Saturday, February 17.
Libby Hammer & her Quintet play on Saturday, March 3 and the final concert will be on Saturday, March 17, with the Soul Playboys and Adam Hall.
Upper Reach owner Laura
Pearse said she and winemaker husband Derek loved the concert season.
“Upper Reach proudly supports local, Perth musicians; there is a great music scene here,” she said.
“Each year we search out a new band, so that the Twilight Concerts are a mix of new acts along with old favourites, who are demanded back by patrons.”
