JOSH ANDREWS

Hills to Hawkesbury Living Magazine - - Know Your Candidates - Berowra -

Josh Andrews is the endorsed Labor candidate for Berowra. He has a background in small business, and works for the National Tertiary Education Union at Western Sydney University

He strongly believes in the importance of small business to the local economies of Berowra, drawing on his small business background. Josh is fighting for legitimate and sensible policy to help everyday Australian small business owners properly compete with major corporations. Only Josh and Labor have fully costed and funded policy to give small businesses real tax relief, through lowering the small business tax rate and increasing wage deductions to 140% when small businesses hire new employees.

Supporting Australian public schooling and ensuring equal opportunity for Australian children is key to Josh’s policy fundamentals, informed by his work in the tertiary education sector with the National Tertiary Education Union. Every school in Berowra stands to lose $2m each in funding cuts if Labor isn’t able to protect our education investment. Only Josh and Labor will fully fund the Gonski program, providing our schools with the support they need.
