Last year Tony Abbott was deposed as Prime Minister by Malcolm Turnbull. Conservative Liberals feel that their party has abandoned them. Many conservatives now feel that the party is controlled by big business and special interests. The Labor party supports same-sex marriage. It denies its members the right to a conscience vote – which has forced some of its members like Senator Joe Bullock from Western Australia to resign. In short, many people are looking to vote for someone different this election.

The Christian Democratic Party is the largest minor party and has an established record of achievement within New South Wales. But we also try to ensure that all the legislation we pass reflects our Christian values. OUR PLATFORM At this election we will be fighting on five key issues. These are:

• Supporting traditional marriage

• One law for all australians – no sharia law in australia

• A stronger healthcare system keeping australian assets australian owned

• Protecting our religious freedoms.
