Labor - The better choice for Berowra and Australia’s future in this current Federal political climate.
Some problems with just been a female in our working environment!
Female wages are on average $26,527.00 per year less than their male counterpart. This is coupled with an overall minuscule wage rise overall of 0.5%, seasonally adjusted (ABS source) The government is unable to figure out how to get the taxes/spending ratio correct.
The government has spent $122 mill on the yes/no vote AND ALSO with things like the Manus Island problems ($4.89 Billion) Nauru ($385 million over next 12 months OR just over $1 million per day! We we work hard to earn money and then they spent it! ) It seems that everything, tolls, registration, insurance, food, clothing, transport costs are increasing and well .You get the picture, everything is just getting a little bit more expensive every 6 months or less.
So then, many of us are looking in the mirror and saying to ourselves that I cannot afford some of the things I need any more! This is when annoyance, frustration and loss of selfconfidence affects many when you are unable to change you own circumstances.
This population expects a Federal government to control the tax/spend ratio so that the cost of living is balanced throughout our nation. This will enable pensioners, people on lower wages and the general public to have access to a fair wage coupled to stable living costs, that is not the case presently.
Strong, vibrant leadership achieves good control of living costs and a good leader is normally surrounded with good ministers. These basic requirements have NOT been achieved by this current Federal Liberal government and it seems to be getting no better.
The serious comments by the NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro to Alan Jones that Turnbull is the problem and he should step down, then the words of Barilaro’s boss Gladys Berjiklian that “the Prime Minister has my full and absolute support” is the same language as was given to Julia Gillard by powerbroker Mark Arbib in 2011 “to have the full support of the party” only to end in tears. As a labour person, you would be thinking “that these (Liberal party problems) are more fun than I could have ever imagined. The only thing wrong for this is that as an Australian citizen I am annoyed that we have slid to these depths. if our Malcolm was the kind of leader that say Hawke/Howard was in their hey day I would not even consider running against a sitting Liberal Federal member in this safe Liberal seat. How times and Liberal financial dealings can change your attitude and commitment.
So a, Very Good Merry Happy Christmas to all!
