LETTER TO EDITOR
For years I saw the Hills to Hawkesbury as being just a TV guide, however, I now see this weekly magazine as better reflecting the community it serves. At a time when the traditional newsprint media is under strain from the influence and immediacy of social media, the “parish pump” must continue to be a critical part of the social fabric of our society.
The support of local businesses by way of advertising is a demonstration of the commitment it has to serving the community. In turn the reporting of stories about local people will further ensure the “parish’s” heart continues to pump. — ALLAN GIBSON
