SOFT FLESHY PINKS
One of the standout colour options of the year, various pinkish, slightly skin-toned hues sit comfortably in most colour palettes.
PANTONE “ROSE QUARTZ” is a pretty shade of blush that works well with other greyish tones. Consider it for most spaces – it works best as a rich texture or fabric, such as velvet or wool.
DULUX “PIGLET” is slightly richer and deeper and the perfect partner for
metallics – think rose gold or yellow gold – while also being at home with richer colours like deep ruby red, turquoise and emerald or patinaed copper greens. RESENE “MESMERISE”, “SOULMATE”
AND “ABERCROMBIE” are yummy variations on a smokier note. They are suitable to use with greys, charcoals, lilac blues and timber tones. When working with timber and soft pinks, use darkly stained timbers for a great contrast.
