WHAT TO DO IN THE GARDEN THIS MONTH
IN THE VEGIE PATCH
Protect vegies from cold winds with a hedge or screening plant on the south or west of your patch.
Worm farms turn your kitchen scraps into useful plant food for your vegies – great if you don’t have room for a compost heap.
Paths in the patch keep feet dry and mud-free. Top up paths with a permeable surface like stones or pebbles that allows water to drain.
Rainy day? When you can’t tend the garden, create a tiled mosaic piece to personalise and beautify it!
