CERVICAL CANCER

Homes+ (Australia) - - PLUS TRAVEL -

In your 20s, as you’re getting to grips with adult life, you need to be aware that cervical cancer can be an issue. Doctors recommend a pap smear every two years after you turn 18 until you’re 69. There’s also a cervical cancer vaccine that protects against the two highrisk human papillomavirus (HPV) types, which cause 70 per cent of cervical cancers in women. It’s free to women aged 12 to 26.
