A growing number of Australian companies are keen to refit their offices to provide better workstations for their staff. Physiotherapist Anna-Louise Bouvier, creator of the workplace wellbeing program Happy Body at Work (Happybodyatwork.com.au) says her job is to reorganise office spaces – and the number of clients she has is growing fast. “A lot of organisations now want to mix it up so they’re offering their staff traditional sit-down desks, standing stations and higher desks with high chairs and a ledge for the feet which are proving very popular,” she says. Anna-Louise believes this scenario will become far more common throughout the workplace in the next five years.
