Keep­ing so­cially ac­tive is also ben­e­fi­cial and learn­ing a lan­guage, study­ing your fam­ily his­tory, prac­tis­ing a new skill and chang­ing your rou­tines of­ten – in­clud­ing get­ting out of your com­fort zones by trav­el­ling to a new des­ti­na­tion, for ex­am­ple – is also rec­om­mended. “Make be­ing cu­ri­ous a life­long habit,” she ad­vises.
