Stylist Tahnee Carroll shows us how to style your home in gorgeous shades of blush with beautiful on-trend cushions and throws from our friends at Rapee
This soft and light pinky hue is the perfect fit for so many decorating styles, from country and contemporary to beachy and eclectic. It’s a colour that looks beautiful against lightcoloured timbers and pairs especially well with greys, whites and pastel mint. Plus, it’s versatile – you can use it in any room of the house. Create a resolved look throughout your home by using soft furnishings featuring hints of blush within different colour schemes. Try bedlinen in shades of grey, couch cushions in pastels or get creative with your own unique palette.
PRINTS OR SOLIDS
Should you choose a block colour or a pattern? I say both! The key to this look is to mix and match. Textured, shaggy, printed, striped, herringbone or fringed – as long as you stick to a limited colour palette of about three to four hues, any scheme will work.
Speaking of colours, here’s a particular combination I love that works so well with blush: fresh white, contemporary grey and pale timber for a natural, down-to-earth feel. Want to take your styling to another level? Incorporate greenery with plants and artworks, like I’ve done here.
