DIY DIS­TRESSED TIM­BER

You will need Sand­pa­per; sand­ing block; cloth; paint­brush; pale wa­ter­based paint; beeswax fur­ni­ture pol­ish

ONE Use sand­pa­per and sand­ing block to com­pletely strip back your fur­ni­ture piece un­til you have ex­posed the raw tim­ber.

TWO Wipe down the piece with a damp cloth, then paint with one or two coats of paint. Thin the paint with wa­ter if you want to be able to see the tim­ber grain.

THREE Once dry, sand off patches of paint and fin­ish by us­ing a dry cloth to ap­ply beeswax to pro­tect tim­ber.
