VERTICAL POT PLANTER
Build it Take a cue from Virginia and Scott and turn a pallet into a handy vertical pot planter – perfect for kitchen herbs or to add a bit of colour or greenery to your patio, balcony or deck. You can use small potted plants or alternatively, make a sack for each shelf out of weed matting, fill with soil and cut holes to pop your plants into. Once built, mount it to a concrete or brick wall using Dynabolts or using pieces of scrap timber to make French cleats.
Virginia’s vertical herb garden is mounted outside the kitchen window for easy access.
