MAKE A GRAPHIC PRINT

Homes+ (Australia) - - READERS’ HOMES -

Edwina bought this print online, but you can make a similar one. You will need Medium of your choice (we suggest using a thick art paper); pencil; ruler; paintbrushes; paint in three or more colours; painters tape

ONE Plan a geometric design on paper using a pencil and ruler. Divide paper with an angled line and draw in a mix of squares and triangles.

TWO Paint the largest shape on your artwork first, starting with your palest colour. Once completely dry, use tape to get a perfect line for your next colour. Wait until dry and then work in turn until all of your shapes are painted in.

THREE To frame on a budget, consider making your artwork to a specific size to fit a storebought frame.
