All the fun in making gingerbread is definitely in the decorating! Make up some different-shaped gingerbread cookies and decorate with the kids using royal icing (an egg white, 11/2 cups icing sugar and 1 tsp lemon juice) or melted chocolate.
Get creative! Top with sprinkles,
cachous (like Kim has done) and lollies, such as jelly beans, Smarties, licorice strips and musk sticks – the options are endless. Leave them out for Santa, pop them in cellophane bags as gift
toppers or stocking fillers or make holes in the top before baking and hang them off your tree.
