You will need 1 x A4 piece of cardboard; pencil; scissors; assorted paints (we used dark blue, white and grey acrylic paints from Lincraft); paintbrush; 2mm holepunch; string

ONE Draw various shapes onto the cardboard with pencil. To create smooth curved lines trace around items like drinking glasses.

TWO Cut shapes out with scissors.

THREE Paint shapes in different colours. Once dry, you can paint patterns over some of the pieces in a contrasting colour. We created dots by using a fine tip paintbrush.

FOUR Allow to dry completely.

FIVE Use holepunch to make a hole at the top and bottom of each piece, about 2mm from the edge.

SIX Tie separate pieces of string between each piece, leaving the top piece extra long for hanging. Use triple knots to ensure mobile stays together and is safe for bub’s room. Hang it up!
