TIMBER TV FRAME

Homes+ (Australia) - - READERS’ HOMES -

We love this idea – it creates a feature wall and softens the black of the TV.

You will need long ruler; grey lead pencil; painter’s tape; floorboards; saw; liquid nails.

ONE Decide on the area of wall to cover. Use ruler, pencil and painter’s tape to mark this area out on the wall.

TWO Ask your hardware store to cut floorboards to correct length. Or, use a saw to cut to size.

THREE Starting at the bottom of the marked wall area, attach boards to wall using liquid nails.

FOUR Make sure you finish the wall before you reach the ceiling cornice. Otherwise, you may have to cut the final board to a smaller height to fit.
