PEGBOARD INSPIRATION

Homes+ (Australia) - - READERS’ HOMES -

As a keen crafter, Jessica has lots of odds and ends to keep under control. Her pegboard wall meets the challenge! She bought the board at Bunnings and gave it a coat of paint as the white pre-coat had a few scratches. Then she screwed it to the wall with plasterboard screws. All the hooks and shelf supports were also bought at Bunnings. To create versatile storage and display, Jess used pine off-cuts for the shelves, and found lacy white pots at Ikea for pens and textas. “The board has been a great addition to the study, as it really eliminates the need for a big messy drawer where everything gets lost!” Jess say. “It’s not just practical, though, as I love to style it with different little items or pictures that inspire me at the time. So it’s also an ever-changing inspiration board in front of me.” Like Jess’s creation? Add colour to your own by painting the shelves and pots. Or buy a ready-made board from Kmart.
