STANLEY, TASMANIA

Homes+ (Australia) - - TRAVEL+ -

Located on Tassie’s rugged north-west coast in a region known as the ‘edge of the world’ (home also to the Tarkine wilderness), the little fishing village of Stanley is as unique as it is pretty. Its sleepy streets are lined with colonial buildings and stone cottages that speak of the town’s history as an early port. This all falls under the watchful gaze of ‘the Nut’, a massive volcanic rock stretching 150m vertically from the ocean.
