You will need ruler; pen­cil; scis­sors; black polypropy­lene sheet (from Of­fice­works); 6mm hole puncher; clock mech­a­nism.

ONE Mea­sure and cut 6 strips from the polypropy­lene sheet, 30cm x 3.5cm each. TWO Punch a hole in the cen­tre of each strip.

THREE Open up the clock mech­a­nism and start lay­er­ing each strip onto the pin, grad­u­ally mov­ing around clock­wise.

FOUR As you lay them out, make sure each strip is evenly spaced.

FIVE Se­cure the clock mech­a­nism.

Tip Clock mech­a­nisms can be bought on eBay or at craft stores, or you can buy a cheap clock which can be dis­as­sem­bled and re­pur­posed.
