CLEVER CRAFT... POMPOMS
They’re fun, whimsical and super-easy to create. Let’s get started!
Bring texture and fun to a child’s room by adding large pompoms to storage baskets. Fabric or rope textures work well with the softness of pompoms.
Pompoms can dress up plain cushions and give old cushions a new look. Consider adding a nice big pompom to the front of the cushion or on each of the corners. Simply attach the pompoms to your cushion with a needle and thread.
Give a tired blanket a stylish update by stitching some oversized pompoms to the edges and corners with a needle and thread.
You’ll need 3 balls of wool (to make about 29 pompoms) and an A3 piece of foam board. Cut the board into a 45cm diameter circle. Using clear craft glue, stick pompoms to the board in your preferred pattern. Leave to dry overnight before hanging.
