A 3-ZONE HOME

There is no hallway in Amanda’s house. Instead, the home is divided into three zones – and no space goes to waste. “Zone One includes the boys’ bedrooms and a casual living area. We can close this space off when they have friends over,” she says. Zone Two is the “hub”: the kitchen, main living room and bathroom. The more formal Zone Three features the master bedroom and living room with sandstone fireplace and no television – a space Amanda calls her haven. “Having three zones in our home is very effective,” says Amanda. “Each one has a completely different vibe.”
