THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Dayle and Nick’s property is around 1200 square metres, with a good mix of lawn and established trees. “We love the fact that it’s a flat, open space, which is great for the kids, but also very private,” says Dayle. The brick paved area is ideal for outdoor entertaining, and in summer she moves their large teak table to underneath the shade of the pear tree, her favourite plant in the garden. “We love the concept of indoor/outdoor living, and have wide verandahs around the house to cater to this. We’re so fortunate to have the bush around us and beaches nearby.”
