COLOUR CONFIDENCE

We just love Loren’s colour scheme and how she uses it to style her home.

LOREN’S LOVE OF COLOUR, animals and nature is evident throughout the house. “I can always find space for a floral or animal artwork and there’s not a shelf or piece of furniture that hasn’t had some colourful accents added to it in the way of cushions, vases or books,” she says. “I really think colour adds a sense of fun and interest to our house. To me it evokes happiness and feels right for our young family.”

The walls were painted in Dulux Chalk U.S.A., a popular interior white that makes for a perfect background when adding colour, says Loren. In the same way, she uses grey as her neutral of choice for rugs and larger furniture.

This extra-long console is a home stylist’s dream.

Wood and weave The pale timber and other natural materials, such as rattan, all complement Loren’s colour scheme.
