Team emerald green with plywood for a look that feels cool and uncomplicated. This timber tree is every bit as interesting as a tinsel-laden one but can be decorated (and disassembled) in a fraction of the time. To make it, draw a triangle shape on a 2mm sheet of plywood and cut it out. Make smaller ply trees from offcuts to decorate your buffet table. Lean the large tree against the wall and attach your decorations using washi tape. We chose unadorned wooden decorations to continue the “close to nature” theme. To save space, push your table up against the wall then decorate with the small trees. We made our simple festive message by cutting letters out of thick green cardboard.
