Homes+ (Australia) - - STYLE & DECORATE -

I started styling the room with linen bedding, which has a raw, tactile nature that gives a really luxurious feel and looks beautiful when styled in a really relaxed way.

I love the diamond shapes of this trellis, while the bamboo adds a zen vibe. I simply propped it against the wall to hang jewellery and accessories.

To make the bed feel more grand, I placed a wooden bench at the end of it. This creates a great spot to pop throws and books, or to sit on while dressing or putting on your shoes.

Subtly textured wallpaper was my choice, rather than a plain white painted wall, as it gives a little more softness to the room and complements the similar texture of the bed linen. Herringbone flooring adds a sense of luxury. I chose low-cost adhesive floor planks to create this look for less and it looks great, no rug needed!

A solid wooden stool as a side table makes the room feel less cluttered but also introduces more earthy texture, which complements this sage green bed linen so perfectly.
