To as­sem­ble, cut cooled cakes in half hor­i­zon­tally. Place first cake on cake stand, then add a layer of ic­ing. Con­tinue this step with the rest of the cakes and most of the ic­ing. With the re­main­ing ic­ing, ice a very thin layer around out­side of cake. Top with fes­tive green­ery and re­frig­er­ate un­til ready to serve.
