THE HANDMADE ELEMENTS

HOORAY! - - QUOTABLE -

Basically everything at the wedding was handmade, something that Sophie and Mitch say made the wedding much more memorable and fun. Sophie spent months making thousands of tissue paper tassels, which were strung together with fairy lights to create a pen-air marquee vibe in the garden. Her mum also styled all of the floral table

pieces and made her famous family ‘wedding cookies’ as favours for all their guests. Sophie’s grandma pitched in too, making an orange cake for their wedding, which they’d also used as their engagement cake. ‘This is such a special cake in our family,’ Sophie said.
