Now that the image is far enough along I can start the final adjustments. I use any and all adjustment layers including Levels, Hue/Saturation and Curves. I may even mask off a part of the image so that it isn’t affected by the adjustment layer.
The ground plane still needs some help, so I introduce some finer textures in the more distant areas to further exaggerate how it recedes into the background, and add a few small twigs to give it more depth. Finally, I paint in a little directional light from the left to model out the forms so that they have a three-dimensional aspect to them.
