Light­ing considerations

Now that I’m happy with the colours of the main ob­jects, I can start think­ing about the light­ing. I start by dark­en­ing the ar­eas that re­ceive the least amount of light. Nor­mally, this is at the bot­tom of the paint­ing and ar­eas where ob­jects are close to each other. Be­cause the sky is usu­ally blue, the light from above can also be bluish to some de­gree.
