I give the am­phib­ians cloth­ing to sug­gest that they’re in­tel­li­gent and have a tribe-like cul­ture. Be­cause they spend a lot of time in the wa­ter, they would prob­a­bly use sea­weeds as a ma­te­rial for gar­ments. Their gar­ments would be soft when un­der­wa­ter, but on the land be­come stiffer, help­ing to sup­port their elon­gated bod­ies ver­ti­cally, al­most like corsets.
