Blizzard Entertainment has been rocking the world of gaming since 1991, producing hits including The Lost Vikings, and the Diablo and StarCraft series. So what’s the best thing about being senior illustrator there?

“The great people I work with,” Lauren says. “The entire creative development department are exceptionally skilled artists and storytellers, and working alongside them has made me a better artist. I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to get out of your own head and spend time with other artists you respect. Getting their feedback will help you become a better artist.

“At Blizzard I get to work on all of the IPs, a ton of interesting challenges and variety. Most of my work is focused on making supporting story art for the games and learning more about visual storytelling has been one of the biggest perks to being there.”
