Kennedy has long been interested in art. “I first encountered digital painting in middle school, and it’s been my medium of choice ever since,” she says.

“From an early age I knew I wanted to work in video games, and in high school I started narrowing my focus towards concept art.”

She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design and went on to work in the games industry. She now freelances and works on her webcomic, titled Superbitch.

2 Ch antico “This one is part of a personal series I was doing on Aztec and Mayan mythology. Chantico is the goddess of fire, the family hearth and volcanoes. [The painting] was initially much simpler, with details like the face paint and foreground flames added as last-minute decisions.”

1 Monster, Sl ayer “My entry for the Games Workshop’s Game Challenge. This piece has likely gone through the most amount of change from start to finish of all my full illustrations, from the pose of the slayer to the colour scheme, to the monster’s appearance.”

3 Taboo “This is another personal piece. Something of a study on the style of Frank Frazetta.”
