De­vel­op­ing the ve­hi­cle’s in­te­rior de­sign

In­te­rior de­signs are usu­ally even more re­stricted than the ex­te­rior. This is be­cause, es­pe­cially with Star Cit­i­zen ve­hi­cles, the space you’re de­sign­ing is small and has to be tra­versed by player mod­els with in­vis­i­ble hit boxes. There­fore, low hang­ing cables and sim­i­lar tech are to be avoided. I try to use el­e­ments that fold into the wall, study­ing aero­plane chairs and desks. The in­te­rior is also a good place to use dif­fer­ent pat­terns and ma­te­ri­als than the usual painted metal, so I ex­am­ine in­te­rior pho­tos of mil­i­tary he­li­copters.
