10 Get right to the point

ImagineFX - - Workshops -

If I have a colour image that I’ve already finished and I feel the colour doesn’t provide focus or hierarchy, I’ll usually use gradients in Color mode. I sample the dominant colour with the Eyedropper tool and separate out different areas of the image. The idea is to give priority to one area while the other is influenced by the background colour. The result pushes the feeling of depth in the composition, enabling me to highlight the true focal point of the scene.
